After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Remy Rauvoets managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vorsen's supporters rose to their feet, but Remy Rauvoets was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Deroek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Denis Deroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Regis Kestens in the 27th minute of play. If Geoffry Lieckens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. In the 36th minute of the match Philippe Imbreghts shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Deroek showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 37th minute, Geoffry Lieckens fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Lander Leerbels's late challenge caught a AFC Nijvel's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lander Leerbels helped the player get up and apologised. Lander Leerbels hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. When Fabrice Strupar came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the AFC Nijvel fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fabrice Strupar couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Remy Rauvoets stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 63rd match minute, AFC Nijvel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Seppe De Boeck to maneuver through the defense. Remy Rauvoets was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 66th minute. Vorsen's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. With his leg Denis Deroek managed to avoid a goal in the 67thth minute, when Vorsen's Regis Kestens fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Remy Rauvoets received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Denis Deroek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Deroek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remy Rauvoets in the 71st minute of play. Hector Van Eede hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute of the match Nic Gyselinx sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wim Frederickx skillfully saved the ball. Lander Leerbels got his second yellow card in the match during the 75th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 75th minute, Lander Leerbels hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seppe De Boeck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wim Frederickx. Vorsen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 78th minute, Remy Rauvoets hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute, AFC Nijvel's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Remy Rauvoets fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Diederik Van haeck during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 86th minute, Diederik Van haeck hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wim Frederickx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geoffry Lieckens, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. The supporters of Vorsen booed when AFC Nijvel was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stef Van Aghten didn't get a good kick on the ball. Philippe Imbreghts was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 91st played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. If Regis Kestens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
