Charl Weijnandts was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. La Furia Roja's Charl Weijnandts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jasper Voorhof in the 30th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Jasper Voorhof left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FMM fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Rolf Simons had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 44 minutes into the match, La Furia Roja's goal looked a bit too open when Rolf Simons came free, but Charl Weijnandts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half FMM were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

La Furia Roja's Charl Weijnandts played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolf Simons in the 56th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Guido Colebrandts notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of FMM's Jordi Van Boeckost. Jordi Van Boeckost was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 62 minutes into the game, Jasper Voorhof lined in a short shot 1-3 behind a frustrated Charl Weijnandts. If Jasper Voorhof had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jasper Voorhof's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Charl Weijnandts skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Rolf Simons got free in front of the goal in the 89th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Charl Weijnandts was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Charl Weijnandts showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolf Simons in the 91st minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, FMM's goal looked a bit too open when Tran Haentjens came free, but Jordi Van Boeckost reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. La Furia Roja's Charl Weijnandts proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save La Furia Roja from getting a goal against them. FMM played a much better game than La Furia Roja and deserved their victory. The La Furia Roja players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
