Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Mitch Velkeneers started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tibaut Van Latem in the 4th minute of play forced Walderdonk's goalkeeper Jordi Suteweij to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mitch Velkeneers recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herman Hostens got free with Jordi Suteweij in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 17th minute Mitch Velkeneers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rudi Herpoel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, KFC Edegem's goal looked a bit too open when Mitch Velkeneers came free, but Rudi Herpoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rudi Herpoel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Herbert Van Meensel went, in the 24th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Herman Hostens charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Herman Hostens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Rudi Herpoel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mitch Velkeneers, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. 32 minutes into the match, Walderdonk's goal looked a bit too open when Tibaut Van Latem came free, but Jordi Suteweij reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KFC Edegem's Rudi Herpoel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Herbert Van Meensel in the 34th minute of play. Herbert Van Meensel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39th play minutes Mitch Velkeneers shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Rudi Herpoel and just under the crossbar into goal. Mitch Velkeneers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Rudi Herpoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tibaut Van Latem to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Mitch Velkeneers's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rudi Herpoel was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. The audience thought a goal was coming when Herbert Van Meensel got free with Rudi Herpoel in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, KFC Edegem's Rudi Herpoel got control of the ball when Herbert Van Meensel tried to sneak it across the goal line. Walderdonk's Herbert Van Meensel got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mitch Velkeneers received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Rudi Herpoel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrew Valckx during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Walderdonk booed when KFC Edegem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xander-Paul Lenaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Herbert Van Meensel's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 89thth minute, Rudi Herpoel skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davy Boegaerts in the 91st minute of play forced KFC Edegem's goalkeeper Rudi Herpoel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Walderdonk's Mitch Velkeneers in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KFC Edegem's goalie prevented a goal.
