The crowd rose to their feet as AFC Thoricourt's Tommi Dekker slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Claus Coppens. That made the score 2-0 after 39 minutes of play. Claus Coppens stood somewhat misplaced when Tommi Dekker came free in front of goal and shot 3-0 to the left of him in the 43 minute. Rob Slabbaert scored 3-1 in the 47th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tibo Roofhoof, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilles Bossuyt made a kick off. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Thoricourt's goalkeeper Tibo Roofhoof, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claus Coppens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tommi Dekker went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. Tibo Roofhoof came out of the goal and Rob Slabbaert tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some careless play in the AFC Thoricourt defense, Gilles Bossuyt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tibo Roofhoof. The AFC Thoricourt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tibo Roofhoof should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Tommi Dekker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Claus Coppens was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Marc Vervaet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Claus Coppens having to interfere. In the 84th minute, Antonio Acke hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of AFC Thoricourt booed when KFC Anseghem was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Brecht Vissenaeckens didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 88 played minutes, AFC Thoricourt's Kasper Deckkers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Claus Coppens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in AFC Thoricourt reached it.
