Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Peter Justens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. F.C. Zegelsem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Amel the free kick. If Ivan Van Den Broeck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Levi Terwenhout could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Benjamin Gillis made a huge save. 15 minutes into the match, F.C. Zegelsem's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Van Den Broeck came free, but Phillipe Van der Poorten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Levi Terwenhout got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the F.C. Zegelsem fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele couldn't finish the play. Levi Terwenhout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benjamin Gillis having to interfere. Levi Terwenhout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Benjamin Gillis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 30 minutes of play F.C. Zegelsem's Peter Justens was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Thanks to some nice moves Levi Terwenhout could shoot a difficult shot in the 34th minute, which Benjamin Gillis however easily saved by the left post. Levi Terwenhout who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 37thth minute tested the skills of Benjamin Gillis when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Gilles Ingelborgh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 42nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Phillipe Van der Poorten. F.C. Zegelsem's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Phillipe Van der Poorten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joe Gielis in the 45th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ivan Van Den Broeck was the one to do the kick off. Ron Cuejvers charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ron Cuejvers the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ron Cuejvers hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Phillipe Van der Poorten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Van Den Broeck in the 53rd minute of play. Levi Terwenhout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Benjamin Gillis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jeoffrey Van Den Abeele struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Benjamin Gillis didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C. Zegelsem. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Van Den Broeck in the 62nd minute of play forced F.C. Zegelsem's goalkeeper Phillipe Van der Poorten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 64th minute Ivan Van Den Broeck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Phillipe Van der Poorten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, F.C. Zegelsem's Phillipe Van der Poorten got control of the ball when Joe Gielis tried to sneak it across the goal line. Bernd Sanders could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Phillipe Van der Poorten made a huge save. Joe Gielis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Phillipe Van der Poorten tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 played minutes Amel got a freekick which was hit by Bernd Sanders. 75 minutes into the match, F.C. Zegelsem's Ronny Ketelers broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. 87 minutes into the match, F.C. Zegelsem's goalkeeper Phillipe Van der Poorten had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ivan Van Den Broeck. With his leg Phillipe Van der Poorten managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Amel's Joe Gielis fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 90th match minute, F.C. Zegelsem was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bavo Rutgeerts to maneuver through the defense. Phillipe Van der Poorten had in the 93rdth minute some difficulties stopping Gilles Ingelborgh's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Phillipe Van der Poorten made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Joe Gielis sent off a good shot on target. A hard shot 98 in the game by Joe Gielis from a close distance when the talented Phillipe Van der Poorten managed to make a qualified save. F.C. Zegelsem's players were relieved. F.C. Zegelsem were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
