Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) When Fernand de Pelsmaker came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the De Fenix boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernand de Pelsmaker couldn't finish the play. In the 7th minute, Fernand de Pelsmaker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute Willem Van Heurick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billie Van der Roost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kieth Coopmans kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Willem Van Heurick recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 15th minute, Diederik De Ceuster hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Steffe De Ruyter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Tongeren booed when De Fenix boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kieth Coopmans didn't get a good kick on the ball. Guillaume Van Cauwenbergh received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Billie Van der Roost tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Fernand de Pelsmaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Billie Van der Roost made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffe De Ruyter in the 28th minute of play. In the 29th minute Willem Van Heurick shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Billie Van der Roost saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johnny Berchmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Billie Van der Roost having to interfere. If Willem Van Heurick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernand de Pelsmaker could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Richard Ryers made a huge save. Adam Van den Berghe's late challenge caught a De Fenix boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adam Van den Berghe helped the player get up and apologised. Adam Van den Berghe hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. Willem Van Heurick took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Billie Van der Roost. Billie Van der Roost dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

De Fenix boys's Billie Van der Roost proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save De Fenix boys from getting a goal against them. When Fernand de Pelsmaker, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Richard Ryers was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Fernand de Pelsmaker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Richard Ryers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the game, Diederik De Ceuster was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. De Fenix boys's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tongeren the free kick. After a rather tough play, De Fenix boys's Diederik De Ceuster got a free kick in the 68th minute. If Fernand de Pelsmaker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 74 minutes into the match, Tongeren's Steffe De Ruyter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Billie Van der Roost narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Tongeren booed when De Fenix boys was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gunter Van Linthaudt didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, De Fenix boys's goalkeeper Billie Van der Roost had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Steffe De Ruyter. Steffe De Ruyter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Billie Van der Roost made a huge save. De Fenix boys's Billie Van der Roost proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save De Fenix boys from getting a goal against them. Kieth Coopmans hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Tongeren walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
