After 4 played minutes, Fort Huntington's Dreas Conincx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Reinard Vrijdags came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fort Huntington reached it. The attack was good, but when Henri Willems in the 5th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Dreas Conincx took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 8th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reinard Vrijdags. Heiende's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Bertrand Schoovaerts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fort Huntington's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heiende the free kick. After a rather tough play, Fort Huntington's Bertrand Schoovaerts got a free kick in the 9th minute. Heiende's Ruud Van Gorp got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Fort Huntington getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Bertrand Schoovaerts hit a great ball. Fort Huntington's Bertrand Schoovaerts got his second yellow card of the match in the 17th minute. The referee ordered Bertrand Schoovaerts off the ground. After 18 played minutes Fort Huntington got a freekick which was hit by Bertrand Schoovaerts. Ray Luyten shot from long distance in the 18th minute, but Charles-Louis Pardons was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. If Richard Verdonk had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Richard Verdonk's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reinard Vrijdags was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. Henry Calewaerts took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Reinard Vrijdags. Reinard Vrijdags dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Through an outstanding action, after 28 minutes, Charles-Louis Pardons successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Henry Calewaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout De Rudder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 46 minutes, Ruud Van Gorp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heiende's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruud Van Gorp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kristof Brabant made a kick off. Ruud Van Gorp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles-Louis Pardons having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Henry Calewaerts got free with Reinard Vrijdags in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 61 minutes into the match, Fort Huntington's goal looked a bit too open when Ruud Van Gorp came free, but Charles-Louis Pardons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 64 minutes of play, Heiende's Kristof Brabant made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles-Louis Pardons was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 66 played minutes Heiende got a freekick which was hit by Roland Vrijdag. After having played for 69 minutes, Ruud Van Gorp managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Heiende's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruud Van Gorp was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Henry Calewaerts received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Reinard Vrijdags tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 83rd minute, Tobias Decloedt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Richard Verdonk came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Fort Huntington fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Richard Verdonk couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 88th minute, Henry Calewaerts managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fort Huntington's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Calewaerts was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinard Vrijdags breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Henry Calewaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinard Vrijdags having to interfere. Kristof Brabant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles-Louis Pardons having to interfere.
