In the 12th minute, Dirk Roeland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Heiende's goal looked a bit too open when Bernt Schepmans came free, but Reinard Vrijdags reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dirk Roeland's late challenge caught a Okselaar's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dirk Roeland helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Okselaar booed when Heiende was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk Roeland didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Heiende's Lionel Gilis got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd match minute, Okselaar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hector Steckens to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Kristof Brabant fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 32 minutes into the game, Bernt Schepmans cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Reinard Vrijdags was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Michael Imberechts came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Okselaar fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michael Imberechts couldn't finish the play. 38 minutes into the match, Heiende's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Imberechts came free, but Reinard Vrijdags reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Michael Imberechts scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Reinard Vrijdags, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Bernt Schepmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernt Schepmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reinard Vrijdags having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Heiende's Reinard Vrijdags played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Schepmans in the 55th minute of play. Kristof Brabant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bernt Schepmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Reinard Vrijdags took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernt Schepmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Okselaar's Michael Imberechts got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Okselaar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Heiende the free kick. In the 85th minute, Bernt Schepmans reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Reinard Vrijdags. The goal made the score 0-3. Ruud Van Gorp hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Bernt Schepmans fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 97th minute, Kristof Brabant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
