After having played for 19 minutes, Dimitri Villyn managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Luchteren's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dimitri Villyn was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erik-Jan Roukeloes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernt Devaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Herman Pelsers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik-Jan Roukeloes having to interfere. Erik-Jan Roukeloes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Herman Pelsers in the 34th minute. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Bernt Devaux sped through Luchteren's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Erik-Jan Roukeloes. Dimitri Villyn received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthoon Bourgignon during the 65th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
