When Jimmy Verheijt fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored LDB United's protests and gave Jimmy Verheijt a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes LDB United got a freekick which was hit by Jimmy Verheijt. 16 minutes into the match, FC. Pikolas's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Louis Cockx came free, but Lou Van Leempoel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Halit Kadrihan made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Etienne van Bedts sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes Mike Degens rounded LDB United's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Etienne van Bedts could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Halit Kadrihan made a huge save. Mike Degens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Dylan Sellekaerts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the game, Michel Jenken was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LDB United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC. Pikolas the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 70th minute, Mike Degens managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC. Pikolas's supporters rose to their feet, but Mike Degens was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Halit Kadrihan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 76th minute, FC. Pikolas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jean-Louis Cockx fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 81st minute, Henk Huijbregs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dylan Sellekaerts scored 1-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lou Van Leempoel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Dylan Sellekaerts came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the LDB United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dylan Sellekaerts couldn't finish the play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
