Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brian Verlinden took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Hesbania FC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul-Louis Vlimmens came free, but Yves Van Engelen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Brian Verlinden might have been able to make a better finish in the 6th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxim Verheyden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brian Verlinden ran back to his position shaking his head. Tommi Daems received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Maxim Verheyden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Verlinden in the 13th minute of play forced AFC Localit's goalkeeper Maxim Verheyden to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yves Van Engelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul-Louis Vlimmens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thijs Huijghens lost his temper 17 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The supporters of Hesbania FC booed when AFC Localit was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thijs Huijghens didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Tommi Daems had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Brian Verlinden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Maxim Verheyden having to make a save. Brian Verlinden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Verheyden having to interfere. Brian Verlinden struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Maxim Verheyden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hesbania FC. If Alain Wijnrijx had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 39 minutes, Brian Verlinden put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Maxim Verheyden. The audience was convinced that Brian Verlinden's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maxim Verheyden was relentless in the 42nd minute of the game. When Brian Verlinden came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Hesbania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brian Verlinden couldn't finish the play. Klaus Dechamps sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The AFC Localit players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hesbania FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sam-Lucas Gillis stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Brian Verlinden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Maxim Verheyden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Brian Verlinden might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxim Verheyden. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Brian Verlinden ran back to his position shaking his head. When Thomas-Jan Vos came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Hesbania FC fans jumped to their feet. Brian Verlinden kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute. Though ot was a great shot AFC Localit's keeper Maxim Verheyden was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. 68 minutes into the game, Hesbania FC's Brian Verlinden nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxim Verheyden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 70th minute, Jan-Joost Wijnrijx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maxim Verheyden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomas-Jan Vos in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind AFC Localit's goalkeeper Maxim Verheyden, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 75 minutes into the game, Hesbania FC's Tommi Daems nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxim Verheyden made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Verlinden in the 81st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Maxim Verheyden saved AFC Localit from getting behind. Tommi Daems struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Maxim Verheyden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hesbania FC. Brian Verlinden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Thomas-Jan Vos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxim Verheyden saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Verlinden's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 87thth minute, Maxim Verheyden skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Hesbania FC's Tommi Daems got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Bavo Spailer put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Hesbania FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! Yves Van Engelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sam-Lucas Gillis, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. When the match was over Hesbania FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than AFC Localit throughout the match.
