Yves Van Engelen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oscar Jongbloedt went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 14 minutes into the match, Brian Verlinden notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Trembleur's Stephen Wirinckx. Stephen Wirinckx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 18th minute Oscar Jongbloedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Van Engelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Yves Van Engelen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joerie Van Eede in the 22nd minute of the match. In the 23rd minute Brian Verlinden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stephen Wirinckx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Brian Verlinden in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Stephen Wirinckx prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 28th minute, Jeff Wynant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hesbania FC's Brian Verlinden was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 31st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Brian Verlinden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hesbania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Verlinden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephen Wirinckx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tommi Daems came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Hesbania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tommi Daems couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jerry De Kerpel during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, FC Trembleur's Jerry De Kerpel got a free kick in the 40th minute. Jannes Van den Inde hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Joerie Van Eede was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Tommi Daems cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Stephen Wirinckx was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Stephen Wirinckx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brian Verlinden, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Nils Coremans notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of FC Trembleur's Stephen Wirinckx. Stephen Wirinckx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some careless play in the FC Trembleur defense, Thomas-Jan Vos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stephen Wirinckx. The FC Trembleur fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stephen Wirinckx should have stopped the shot. Stephen Wirinckx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tommi Daems, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brian Verlinden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Verlinden in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stephen Wirinckx saved FC Trembleur from getting behind. Tommi Daems recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Brian Verlinden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hesbania FC's Klaus Dechamps got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jannes Van den Inde had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Brian Verlinden managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hesbania FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Verlinden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stephen Wirinckx breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hesbania FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
