The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Maxim Verheyden prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22ndth minute of the game Staf De Malier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AFC Localit's Maxim Verheyden was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Paul-Louis Vlimmens came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the AFC Localit fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul-Louis Vlimmens couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute, AFC Localit's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Patrick Klopterop fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Staf De Malier made a kick off. Maxim Verheyden stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Staf De Malier's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. After 62 played minutes, KVSK Moorsel's Cederik Maerschalk shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Maxim Verheyden came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in KVSK Moorsel reached it. Maxim Verheyden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Patrick Klopterop in the 66th minute of play. Kent Van Beets hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Paul-Louis Vlimmens took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Robbin Beets to make any attempt to save it. After 74 played minutes AFC Localit got a freekick which was hit by Axel Ruttens. In the 75th minute, Cederik Maerschalk got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 80 minutes into the match, AFC Localit's goal looked a bit too open when Patrick Klopterop came free, but Maxim Verheyden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Patrick Klopterop sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Staf De Malier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Maxim Verheyden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Robbin Beets took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul-Louis Vlimmens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cederique Struyf's late challenge caught a AFC Localit's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cederique Struyf helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, KVSK Moorsel's Cederique Struyf got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Sam-Lucas Gillis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbin Beets having to interfere. When the final whistle went the supporters of AFC Localit were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant KVSK Moorsel side.
