Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Brian Verlinden took the kick off in the first half of the match. Yves Van Engelen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Staf De Malier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robbin Beets stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Verlinden's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Hesbania FC were furious when Oscar Van De Wiele was red carded, 15 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hesbania FC! The goalkeeper, Yves Van Engelen, was totally fooled by KVSK Moorsel's Cederik Maerschalk, who 17 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. If Staf De Malier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, KVSK Moorsel's Cederique Struyf dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Verlinden in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robbin Beets saved KVSK Moorsel from getting behind. Greg Van den Wyngaert kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brian Verlinden in the 36th minute of play forced KVSK Moorsel's goalkeeper Robbin Beets to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 38thth minute of the game Brian Verlinden who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KVSK Moorsel's Robbin Beets was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Robbin Beets stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Brian Verlinden's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Alphonse Ingelborgh charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alphonse Ingelborgh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Alphonse Ingelborgh kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind KVSK Moorsel's goalkeeper Robbin Beets, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in KVSK Moorsel's zone, Brian Verlinden stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbin Beets came out of the goal and Brian Verlinden tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Staf De Malier made a kick off. Brian Verlinden could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Robbin Beets made a huge save. Tommi Daems received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Robbin Beets tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 62 played minutes KVSK Moorsel got a freekick which was hit by Cederik Maerschalk. Yves Van Engelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Patrick Klopterop, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Staf De Malier in the 71st minute of play forced Hesbania FC's goalkeeper Yves Van Engelen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. KVSK Moorsel's Staf De Malier managed to work through Hesbania FC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Staf De Malier dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 74th minute Cederique Struyf shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Van Engelen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. KVSK Moorsel's defense didn't have a chance, in the 76th minute, when Brian Verlinden scored to the left of an out of position Robbin Beets, making the score, 2-2. Yves Van Engelen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Staf De Malier, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. After having played for 86 minutes, Brian Verlinden managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hesbania FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brian Verlinden was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Klaus Dechamps struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Robbin Beets didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hesbania FC. Hesbania FC's Brian Verlinden got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Klaus Dechamps came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Hesbania FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Klaus Dechamps couldn't finish the play. In the 95th minute of the match Thomas-Jan Vos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Robbin Beets showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Hesbania FC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
