Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) FC Mohamed's Steffe Van Dessen started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 3 minutes of play, Molendaal's Lucien Iansens made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lars Limpens was left in no man's land by his defense there! Steffe Van Dessen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Sebbe De Fauw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Steffe Van Dessen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th play minute Lucien Iansens came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Lars Limpens. 2-0. 13 minutes into the match, Steffe Van Dessen notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Molendaal's Sebbe De Fauw. Sebbe De Fauw was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Steffe Van Dessen came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Mohamed fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Steffe Van Dessen couldn't finish the play. Maxime Schautens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match Thibaud Scheerens shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sebbe De Fauw showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Maxime Schautens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebbe De Fauw having to interfere. Lars Limpens came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Molendaal's Dimitri Goorts. But to his dismay, Dimitri Goorts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. FC Mohamed's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Hubert Jennis scored to the left of an out of position Lars Limpens, making the score, 4-1. Pierre-Paul Van Hautvinck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebbe De Fauw having to interfere. When Lenny Wuttemans fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Mohamed's protests and gave Lenny Wuttemans a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Molendaal booed when FC Mohamed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lenny Wuttemans didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 39 played minutes, Molendaal's Bob Kockaerts shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars Limpens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Molendaal reached it. Roni Breugelmans's late challenge caught a Molendaal's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roni Breugelmans helped the player get up and apologised. In the 39th minute, Roni Breugelmans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 41 played minutes, Molendaal's Bob Kockaerts shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Lars Limpens came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Molendaal reached it. Lars Limpens was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hubert Jennis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 5-1 in the 42 minute of play. 44 minutes into the game, Maxime Schautens was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mohamed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molendaal the free kick. 46 minutes into the match, FC Mohamed's goalkeeper Lars Limpens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sam-Lucas Van Linthout. Maxime Schautens might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebbe De Fauw. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Maxime Schautens ran back to his position shaking his head.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hubert Jennis was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Paul-Louis Van Riel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Mohamed's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molendaal the free kick. Paul-Louis Van Riel hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, FC Mohamed's Maxime Schautens ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Sebbe De Fauw. Sebbe De Fauw yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 5-2. The supporters of FC Mohamed booed when Molendaal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucien Iansens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fred Tilens could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Sebbe De Fauw made a huge save. Steffe Van Dessen struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Sebbe De Fauw didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Mohamed. Steffe Van Dessen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 61st play minutes Pierre-Paul Van Hautvinck shot 5-3, a short shot which went by Sebbe De Fauw and just under the crossbar into goal. Fred Tilens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the game, Dimitri Goorts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Molendaal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Mohamed the free kick. A collision led to Molendaal getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Dimitri Goorts hit a great ball. 73 minutes in the game, Pierre-Paul Van Hautvinck fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Sebbe De Fauw having to interfere. Steffe Van Dessen did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 5-4 to the left of a surprised Sebbe De Fauw 77 minutes into the match. Sebbe De Fauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierre-Paul Van Hautvinck, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Steffe Van Dessens short, quick shot in the 82ndth minute got Sebbe De Fauw to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Steffe Van Dessen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sebbe De Fauw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maxime Schautens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebbe De Fauw having to interfere. Sebbe De Fauw didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fred Tilens went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-5 was the resulting score. Roni Breugelmans fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebbe De Fauw having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, FC Mohamed's Maxime Schautens sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sebbe De Fauw narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pierre-Paul Van Hautvinck in the 93rd minute of play forced Molendaal's goalkeeper Sebbe De Fauw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 96 minutes into the match, Hubert Jennis notched a goal, 6-5, to the right of FC Mohamed's Lars Limpens. Lars Limpens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
