Class on Grass's Ruben Diericx got a good chance for a goal in the 8th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lars Limpens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ruben Diericx went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lars Limpens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joannes Tombeurs, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Class on Grass's Ruben Diericx got a free kick in the 15th minute. In the 16th minute, Fred Tilens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 20th minute, Steffe Van Dessen fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Matias Van Meirhaeghe, passed just outside the right post. In the 24th minute Ruben Diericx shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lars Limpens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roni Breugelmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 28th minute, Ernest Dejonghe got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pierre-Paul Van Hautvinck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Matias Van Meirhaeghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ernest Dejonghe came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Class on Grass fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernest Dejonghe couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Joannes Tombeurs made a precise shot to the right of Lars Limpens. FC Mohamed's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Class on Grass's Matias Van Meirhaeghe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Steffe Van Dessen in the 39th minute of play. 40 minutes into the game, Class on Grass's Ernest Dejonghe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lars Limpens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 44 minutes into the match, Ruben Diericx notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of FC Mohamed's Lars Limpens. Lars Limpens was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruben Diericx made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, FC Mohamed's Pierre-Paul Van Hautvinck made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Matias Van Meirhaeghe was left in no man's land by his defense there! Maxime Schautens charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Maxime Schautens the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Class on Grass booed when FC Mohamed was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxime Schautens didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ernest Dejonghe got free with Lars Limpens in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, FC Mohamed's Lars Limpens got control of the ball when Ernest Dejonghe tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Steffe Van Dessen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Mohamed's supporters rose to their feet, but Steffe Van Dessen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matias Van Meirhaeghe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 67th minute, Joannes Tombeurs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 69 played minutes, FC Mohamed's Marcus Coekx shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Matias Van Meirhaeghe came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in FC Mohamed reached it. In the 70th minute, Maxime Schautens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 71 minutes into the match, Class on Grass's goal looked a bit too open when Pierre-Paul Van Hautvinck came free, but Matias Van Meirhaeghe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierre-Paul Van Hautvinck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Class on Grass supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Class on Grass would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
