In the 6th minute, Will Wyfliets got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebbe De Fauw made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Tuur Hally sent off a good shot on target. Sebbe De Fauw showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harrie Coppens, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Molendaal's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KVC Berchem the free kick. KVC Berchem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Molendaal the free kick. After 48 played minutes KVC Berchem got a freekick which was hit by Will Wyfliets. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tuur Hally to strike the kick off in the second half. Hubert Jennis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jannes Delamenin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebbe De Fauw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tuur Hally in the 63rd minute of play. Sebbe De Fauw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tuur Hally, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matias Van der Roost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lucien Iansens hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 77thth minute of the game Matias Van der Roost who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Molendaal's Sebbe De Fauw was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Tuur Hally received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Sebbe De Fauw tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Emile Isemborgh in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sebbe De Fauw saved Molendaal from getting behind. Sebbe De Fauw came out of the goal and Emile Isemborgh tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Matias Van der Roost got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Molendaal's Dimitri Goorts got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Jannes Delamenin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hubert Jennis in the 95th minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. KVC Berchem fully deserved thier win.
