When Axell vrolix came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the SIDEMEN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axell vrolix couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Desse 's goalkeeper Jannic Goovaers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 13 minutes, Yves Daems managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SIDEMEN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Yves Daems was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 15 minutes, Goffrey Van Der Straeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SIDEMEN FC's attack was well implemented in the 29th minute, but when Axell vrolix was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. SIDEMEN FC's Goffrey Van Der Straeten got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 36 played minutes SIDEMEN FC got a freekick which was hit by Yves Daems. When Yves Daems came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the SIDEMEN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Yves Daems couldn't finish the play. 41 minutes into the game, Yelle Le Page was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Desse 's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SIDEMEN FC the free kick. After 42 played minutes Desse got a freekick which was hit by Yelle Le Page. In the 43rd minute, Thomas Tuerlinckx hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Goffrey Van Der Straeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kasper Smits to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Goffrey Van Der Straeten in the 65th minute of play forced Desse 's goalkeeper Jannic Goovaers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Goffrey Van Der Straeten in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jannic Goovaers saved Desse from getting behind. Arsene Anteunis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Joris Andriesens tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute, Axell vrolix got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thomas Tuerlinckx kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Goffrey Van Der Straeten recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind Desse 's goalkeeper Jannic Goovaers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Desse succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though SIDEMEN FC had controlled the match.
