Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Axell vrolix got the match started through his kick off. When Goffrey Van Der Straeten came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the SIDEMEN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Goffrey Van Der Straeten couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axell vrolix in the 4th minute of play forced Vaaghof's goalkeeper Isaac De Hertoge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Vaaghof's Joonatan Van Cleijnenbreughel got a free kick in the 5th minute. Axell vrolix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Isaac De Hertoge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vaaghof's Isaac De Hertoge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Goffrey Van Der Straeten in the 10th minute of play. Isaac De Hertoge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axell vrolix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th minute, Axell vrolix ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Isaac De Hertoge was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After having played for 16 minutes, Goffrey Van Der Straeten managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SIDEMEN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Goffrey Van Der Straeten was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 0-2 became the score in the 17th minute when Goffrey Van Der Straeten elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Yves Daems charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yves Daems the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SIDEMEN FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Yves Daems hit a great ball. Isaac De Hertoge stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Goffrey Van Der Straeten's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Isaac De Hertoge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axell vrolix in the 24th minute of play. Axell vrolix sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd match minute, Vaaghof was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christoff Stroobant to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute, Stanny Creemers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isaac De Hertoge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axell vrolix in the 38th minute of play. In the 42nd minute Goffrey Van Der Straeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac De Hertoge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half SIDEMEN FC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Geoffrey Elssen made a kick off. If Axell vrolix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 60th minute, Goffrey Van Der Straeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SIDEMEN FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Etienne Van Halbeeck hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. Axell vrolix struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Isaac De Hertoge didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SIDEMEN FC. In the 72nd minute of the match Terry Mesmaeckers shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Isaac De Hertoge showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 72 played minutes Vaaghof got a freekick which was hit by Joonatan Van Cleijnenbreughel. Goffrey Van Der Straeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isaac De Hertoge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axell vrolix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Vaaghof's zone, Goffrey Van Der Straeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isaac De Hertoge came out of the goal and Goffrey Van Der Straeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vaaghof's Isaac De Hertoge proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Vaaghof from getting a goal against them. Isaac De Hertoge made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Axell vrolix in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute Axell vrolix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isaac De Hertoge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. SIDEMEN FC played a much better game than Vaaghof and deserved their victory. The Vaaghof players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
