Achilles Goons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axell vrolix, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Goffrey Van Der Straeten had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rein Vrancken during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes VC Wateringen got a freekick which was hit by Rein Vrancken. In the 21st minute Axell vrolix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achilles Goons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Goffrey Van Der Straeten received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Achilles Goons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, VC Wateringen's goal looked a bit too open when Axell vrolix came free, but Achilles Goons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Ray Uijtterhoeven hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Achilles Goons didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when SIDEMEN FC's Goffrey Van Der Straeten shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-0 in the ordered_time% minute. Reemy Van Der Meren hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Samuel Van de Zande made the kick off in the second half. Yves Daems received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Achilles Goons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes VC Wateringen got a freekick which was hit by Rein Vrancken. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jerry Beeckmans got free with Joris Andriesens in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A hard shot 67 in the game by Jerry Beeckmans from a close distance when the talented Joris Andriesens managed to make a qualified save. SIDEMEN FC's players were relieved. 68 minutes into the match, SIDEMEN FC's goalkeeper Joris Andriesens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jerry Beeckmans. 71 minutes into the match, Samuel Van de Zande dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Joris Andriesens, 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in VC Wateringen's zone, Axell vrolix stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Achilles Goons came out of the goal and Axell vrolix tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Axell vrolix came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the SIDEMEN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Axell vrolix couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, VC Wateringen's Goffrey Van Clijnebreugel broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. VC Wateringen's Samuel Van de Zande got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
