Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Johnny Smet charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Johnny Smet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to SPEK B getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Johnny Smet hit a great ball. In the 7th minute Werner Verlinden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathijs Heers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8th match minute, SPEK B was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Johnny Smet to maneuver through the defense. Werner Verlinden blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mathijs Heers having to make a save. After having played for 13 minutes, Jean Pieters managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KVSK Houx's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jean Pieters was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Lenny Langhmans stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernd Heijlen's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. A collision led to KVSK Houx getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Tommie Lambrecht hit a great ball. In the 23rd match minute, KVSK Houx was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommie Lambrecht to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute of the match Tuur Cerneels sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Lenny Langhmans skillfully saved the ball. Julien Gevaert hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Lenny Langhmans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tuur Cerneels, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jean Pieters fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathijs Heers having to interfere. SPEK B's Mathijs Heers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save SPEK B from getting a goal against them. After 32 played minutes SPEK B got a freekick which was hit by Rein Dujardin. Jean Pieters took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mathijs Heers. Mathijs Heers dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Werner Verlinden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Alfons Huijsmans fell near the penalty area in the 41st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SPEK B's protests and gave Alfons Huijsmans a yellow card for diving instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Jean Pieters managed to get in a good position for a shot. KVSK Houx's supporters rose to their feet, but Jean Pieters was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathijs Heers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Werner Verlinden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 47 minutes, Werner Verlinden took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Mathijs Heers to make any attempt to save it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Werner Verlinden to strike the kick off in the second half. Bernd Heijlen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Lenny Langhmans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 60th minute, KVSK Houx's Thomas-Jan Beetens seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Thomas-Jan Beetens the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KVSK Houx protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Thomas-Jan Beetens had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in KVSK Houx fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 59th minute. Penalty! In the 70th minute, Jon Borginions ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lenny Langhmans was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Jon Borginions's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Lenny Langhmans skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Tommie Lambrecht fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KVSK Houx's protests and gave Tommie Lambrecht a yellow card for diving instead. Jean Pieters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, KVSK Houx's Lenny Langhmans got control of the ball when Jon Borginions tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute Jean Pieters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathijs Heers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jon Borginions got free with Lenny Langhmans in the 99th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
