Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cederik De Potter started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Willy Van Den Hout charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Willy Van Den Hout the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 3 minutes into the game, one of Real Threat:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Cederik De Potter managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Averbode's supporters rose to their feet, but Cederik De Potter was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Maarten De Deygere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Maarten De Deygere didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Verengen went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Cederik De Potter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Maarten De Deygere tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Cederik De Potter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maarten De Deygere. That made the score 3-0 in the 24 minute of play. Cederik De Potter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Maarten De Deygere came out and tried to block the shot, but Cederik De Potter slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 44th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 5-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dieter Van Laeck to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd match minute, AFC Averbode was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viktor Rix to maneuver through the defense. Maarten De Deygere took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cederik De Potter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maarten De Deygere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cederik De Potter, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dieter Van Laeck in the 66th minute of play forced AFC Averbode's goalkeeper Nico Vandeput to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 68 played minutes Real Threat got a freekick which was hit by Axell Scherens.
