Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ronald Voets took the kick off in the first half of the match. Mateo Maertens came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Tervoort's Lennart Goens. But to his dismay, Lennart Goens quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 7th minute, Lennart Goens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jens Baboeuf took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilfried De Smet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Tervoort getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Oswald Desmet hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcus Volders in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jens Baboeuf prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Abraham Van der Weijden hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Ronald Voets fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Maertens having to interfere. 31 minutes into the match, Zerkegem's goalkeeper Mateo Maertens had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lennart Goens. Tervoort's Lennart Goens got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 34 minutes into the match, Lennart Goens had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mateo Maertens. Zerkegem's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lennart Goens was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Lennart Goens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mateo Maertens having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Mathias Matthijs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zerkegem's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tervoort the free kick. Mathias Matthijs kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Wilfried De Smet to strike the kick off in the second half. Mateo Maertens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jannic Van Poucke in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute Ronald Voets shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mateo Maertens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Lennart Goens got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Tervoort's Lennart Goens nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mateo Maertens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. After 61 played minutes Tervoort got a freekick which was hit by Gustaaf De Metser. Zerkegem's Mateo Maertens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Voets in the 64th minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Lennart Goens managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tervoort's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lennart Goens was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Zerkegem's zone, Lennart Goens stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mateo Maertens came out of the goal and Lennart Goens tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Reinard Sustens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mateo Maertens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronald Voets, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zerkegem's Mateo Maertens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronald Voets in the 89th minute of play. If Wilfried De Smet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind Tervoort's goalkeeper Jens Baboeuf, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Marcus Volders fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zerkegem's protests and gave Marcus Volders a yellow card for diving instead. After 96 played minutes Zerkegem got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Volders. The audience was convinced that Ronald Voets's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mateo Maertens was relentless in the 98th minute of the game. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Tervoort had played much better football throughout.
