Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Balthazar Dedecker started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Elias Sevenans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Simons in the 4th minute of the match. Ivan Simons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Elias Sevenans having to make a save. Herman Swin took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Elias Sevenans. Elias Sevenans dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Balthazar Dedecker managed to get in a good position for a shot. Landen's supporters rose to their feet, but Balthazar Dedecker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jannes Vissenaekens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elias Sevenans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Simons, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Richard Langendonckx kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. K. Sint-Truiden V.V.'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 29th minute, when Balthazar Dedecker scored to the left of an out of position Jannes Vissenaekens, making the score, 2-2. In the 44th minute Ivan Simons shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Sevenans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Sevenans took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Herman Swin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes into the match, Landen's goal looked a bit too open when Herman Swin came free, but Elias Sevenans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ivan Simons made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Ivan Simons's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Elias Sevenans was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. With a little luck, Landen's Elias Sevenans got control of the ball when Herman Swin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laurens Celis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Elias Sevenans made a huge save. Ivan Simons received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Elias Sevenans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jannes Vissenaekens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Balthazar Dedecker in the 75th minute of play. Jordi De Maerschalck took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Elias Sevenans. Landen's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Landen's goalkeeper Elias Sevenans, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ivan Simons struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Elias Sevenans didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for K. Sint-Truiden V.V.. Elias Sevenans didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 90th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. After having played for 96 minutes, Ivan Simons managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. K. Sint-Truiden V.V.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Ivan Simons was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched K. Sint-Truiden V.V. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
