Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Jurgen Hosselaer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yelle Kempenaerts. Nevele's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jurgen Hosselaer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Robbin Severens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tibau Langhmans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Jurgen Hosselaer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The supporters of Vosselare booed when Nevele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arsene Kindts didn't get a good kick on the ball. Renzo de Nijs struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Yelle Kempenaerts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vosselare. A collision led to Nevele getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Tibau Langhmans hit a great ball. When Tibau Langhmans came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Nevele fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tibau Langhmans couldn't finish the play. After 34 minutes of play, Vosselare's Jurgen Hosselaer made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Yelle Kempenaerts was left in no man's land by his defense there! Robbin Severens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorre Wolput in the 37th minute of the match. After having played for 41 minutes, Jorre Wolput managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nevele's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jorre Wolput was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jorre Wolput fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robbin Severens having to interfere.
The wind increased when Renzo de Nijs made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nevele's goalkeeper Yelle Kempenaerts, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 54th minute, Renzo de Nijs ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yelle Kempenaerts was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Yelle Kempenaerts took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jurgen Hosselaer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Nevele's zone, Charles-Antoine Theunis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yelle Kempenaerts came out of the goal and Charles-Antoine Theunis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Vosselare getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Freddy Van Den Hout hit a great ball. Guido Fraes, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 74 minutes into the match, Nevele's goal looked a bit too open when Renzo de Nijs came free, but Yelle Kempenaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute Tibau Langhmans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robbin Severens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tibau Langhmans in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robbin Severens saved Vosselare from getting behind. If Tibau Langhmans had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 87th minute, Tibaut Van Geel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robbin Severens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tibau Langhmans, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Nevele's goal looked a bit too open when Renzo de Nijs came free, but Yelle Kempenaerts reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Yelle Kempenaerts showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jurgen Hosselaer, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. In the 95th minute, Arsene Kindts hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 98 minutes had been played when some careless play by Nevele's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Guy Van Beveren was slow to take the kick. During this time Vosselare's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Vosselare's Rob Krabbe getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Vosselare were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nevele for a fine match.
