Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Stephan Van Den Haecke started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Stephan Van Den Haecke came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Fc Oxford fans jumped to their feet. After a defensive mix-up in KVSK Wijtschate's zone, Stephan Van Den Haecke stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mario Boumans came out of the goal and Stephan Van Den Haecke tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 32nd minute Stephan Van Den Haecke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mario Boumans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Fc Oxford's Stephan Van Den Haecke in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KVSK Wijtschate's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 37 minutes, Mario Boumans successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Fc Oxford's Stephan Van Den Haecke got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mario Boumans showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andy Uytdebroeck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mario Boumans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. Andy Uytdebroeck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mario Boumans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 65th minute, Dries Van Den Eynde hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mario Boumans came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Fc Oxford's Andy Uytdebroeck. But to his dismay, Andy Uytdebroeck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. KVSK Wijtschate's Mario Boumans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Stephan Van Den Haecke in the 71st minute of play. Stephan Van Den Haecke received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Mario Boumans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, KVSK Wijtschate's Dries Van Den Eynde got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 77 played minutes, Fc Oxford's Gert Verheyen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mario Boumans came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Fc Oxford reached it. Stephan Van Den Haecke kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Emile Gooris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Steffen Kortens having to interfere. Mario Boumans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Uytdebroeck in the 92nd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fc Oxford fully deserved thier win.
