In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind KV Vleteren's goalkeeper Robbe Roockeloes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 minutes of play, KV Vleteren's Lucas Winnepenninck made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Axell Schoenmaekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! Axell Schoenmaekers came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by KV Vleteren's Lucas Winnepenninck. But to his dismay, Lucas Winnepenninck quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Roger Decock might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robbe Roockeloes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Decock ran back to his position shaking his head. Max Oliviers fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axell Schoenmaekers having to interfere. 28 minutes into the match, KV Vleteren's Max Oliviers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Axell Schoenmaekers narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lucas Winnepenninck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Axell Schoenmaekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niel Kant struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Robbe Roockeloes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SK Hamme-Mille. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Niel Kant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucas Winnepenninck struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Axell Schoenmaekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KV Vleteren. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind SK Hamme-Mille's goalkeeper Axell Schoenmaekers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. KV Vleteren's Henrik Bormans shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 79th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Axell Schoenmaekers but with some difficulty. Max Oliviers could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Axell Schoenmaekers made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Lucas Winnepenninck kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Axell Schoenmaekers. That made the score 0-3 in the 86 minute of play. Lucas Winnepenninck fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Axell Schoenmaekers having to interfere. Axell Schoenmaekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Winnepenninck, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. KV Vleteren's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
