The tension between the Wezembeek-Oppem and the Lochristi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Matthieu Maenhout kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Pierre-Alexandre van Haecht hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Kenneth Mangelschot stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angelo Eli's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the match, Angelo Bruyninckx notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Wezembeek-Oppem's Kenneth Mangelschot. Kenneth Mangelschot was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 20th minute Angelo Eli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kenneth Mangelschot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Angelo Bruyninckx fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kenneth Mangelschot having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wezembeek-Oppem's Jose Van Hespen got a free kick in the 25th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Bruyninckx stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Angelo Eli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Lochristi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Eli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Robben Waterloos's late challenge caught a Lochristi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. With a little luck, Wezembeek-Oppem's Kenneth Mangelschot got control of the ball when Angelo Eli tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Sebastian Desmet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Steff Docx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Charl De Hertoghe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute, Angelo Eli made a precise shot to the right of Kenneth Mangelschot. Wezembeek-Oppem's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 90th minute, Lochristi's Angelo Eli dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Steff Docx in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Charl De Hertoghe saved Lochristi from getting behind. Lochristi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
