But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Van Beveren couldn't finish the play. When Toon Antheunis fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored KV Haren's protests and gave Toon Antheunis a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Toon Antheunis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gino Demeulemeester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jannic Louis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jannic Louis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gino Demeulemeester in the 78th minute of the match. With a little luck, KV Haren's Jannic Louis got control of the ball when Willy Goolen tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gino Demeulemeester had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of KV Haren booed when Aalbeked was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gino Demeulemeester didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lennert Daneels sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
