Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin Terwenhout in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remie Leenders prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Benjamin Terwenhout's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Remie Leenders was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. After some careless play in the RSC Heppenbach defense, Bastian Van de cauter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Remie Leenders. The RSC Heppenbach fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Remie Leenders should have stopped the shot. After the first half Jodoigne were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joery Strupar made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Basiel Aelemans managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Heppenbach's supporters rose to their feet, but Basiel Aelemans was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobus Rogiers breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of RSC Heppenbach booed when Jodoigne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Fraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute of the match Birger Ingelborgs shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacobus Rogiers showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Alexandre Everaerts fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jodoigne's protests and gave Alexandre Everaerts a yellow card for diving instead. Alexandre Everaerts kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Basiel Aelemans shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobus Rogiers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the game, Jodoigne's Bastian Van de cauter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Remie Leenders made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. If Benjamin Terwenhout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to RSC Heppenbach getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Joery Strupar hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the match, RSC Heppenbach's goalkeeper Remie Leenders had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bastian Van de cauter. The Jodoigne supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jodoigne would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
