Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Tim Neesens started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tim Neesens in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benoit De Neuter prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 9th minute, Dennis Van den Dries got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Dennis Van den Dries had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Dennis Van den Dries managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hody's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Van den Dries was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Frits Van Aghten breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 minutes of play, Hody's Marten Terreur made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Frits Van Aghten was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Van den Dries in the 19th minute of play forced Meuleneinde's goalkeeper Frits Van Aghten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd minute Dennis Van den Dries shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frits Van Aghten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Meuleneinde booed when Hody was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ben Verstuyft didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Pierre-Alexandre Van De Broeck came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Meuleneinde fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Alexandre Van De Broeck couldn't finish the play. Thomas Van Huyck hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Hody's Benoit De Neuter proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Hody from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Van den Dries in the 40th minute of play forced Meuleneinde's goalkeeper Frits Van Aghten to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frits Van Aghten made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marten Terreur in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the game, Tim Liebrechts was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Meuleneinde's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hody the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Meuleneinde was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tim Liebrechts to maneuver through the defense. 46 minutes had been played when some careless play by Meuleneinde's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Roland de Vleeschouwer was slow to take the kick. During this time Hody's players had a chance to rest.

When Hody's Marten Terreur in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Meuleneinde's goalie prevented a goal. The referee ignored Hody's protests and gave Ben Verstuyft a yellow card for diving instead. 58 minutes into the match, Tim Neesens notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Hody's Benoit De Neuter. Benoit De Neuter was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Marten Terreur's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frits Van Aghten was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Dennis Van den Dries received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Dennis Van den Dries succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-3 in the 90th playminute. 94 minutes into the game, Meuleneinde's Ewout de Cijser nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benoit De Neuter made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3.
