Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Wilderen's Bill Vervoort started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Henrik Samyn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dominick Wouqier in the 3rd minute. Laurent Peers sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Wilderen's Bill Vervoort in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye KAA Sint-Michiels's goalie prevented a goal. Dominick Wouqiers short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Henrik Samyn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 26th minute Jos De Raedemaecker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Klaus Wenderickx saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominick Wouqier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 35thth minute of the game Harald Colebrants who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but KAA Sint-Michiels's Klaus Wenderickx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matthieu Tkint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dominick Wouqier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 44 minutes, Dominick Wouqier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAA Sint-Michiels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominick Wouqier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Jos De Raedemaecker kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, KAA Sint-Michiels's Adolf Van Geele tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Henrik Samyn stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dominick Wouqier's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Henrik Samyn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurent Peers in the 64th minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Dominick Wouqier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Wilderen's Henrik Samyn was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Wilderen getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alfons De Messemaecker hit a great ball. After having played for 73 minutes, Dominick Wouqier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. KAA Sint-Michiels's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dominick Wouqier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laurent Peers might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Henrik Samyn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Laurent Peers ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute of the match Henri-Xavier Reynders shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Klaus Wenderickx showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Klaus Wenderickx was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Bill Vervoort capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bill Vervoort really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Dominick Wouqier struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Henrik Samyn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KAA Sint-Michiels. Klaus Wenderickx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bill Vervoort's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. KAA Sint-Michiels walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
