Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Daniel Gijselinkx took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 3 minutes, Arthur Justens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Wielsbeke and the KFC Geer players grew even worse after the yellow card. Arthur Justens kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Ruben De Maerschalck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Ruben De Maerschalck managed to get in a good position for a shot. KFC Geer's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruben De Maerschalck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ruud Fierens breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrew Owerckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Edgard Van Goitsenhoven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute Arnaud Wils shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruud Fierens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for FC Wielsbeke! Ruud Fierens had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Jonas Valckeners's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Jonas Valckeners took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ruud Fierens. Ruud Fierens dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 35th match minute, FC Wielsbeke was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kenny van der Eycken to maneuver through the defense. 36 minutes into the match, KFC Geer's Ruben De Maerschalck sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ruud Fierens narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in KFC Geer's zone, Andrew Owerckx stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Van Goitsenhoven came out of the goal and Andrew Owerckx tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruud Fierens made a fantastic save in the 42nd minute, when Ruben De Maerschalck sent off a good shot on target. KFC Geer's Edgard Van Goitsenhoven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Gijselinkx in the 46th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Edgard Van Goitsenhoven made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Gijselinkx in the 52nd minute of play. Andrew Owerckx could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Edgard Van Goitsenhoven made a huge save. Paul De Neuter charged in rather forcefully in the 55th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paul De Neuter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paul De Neuter hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, KFC Geer's Goffrey Van Looy got a free kick in the 57th minute. The corner led to FC Wielsbeke's Andrew Owerckx getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 74th minute, Arnaud Wils made a precise shot to the right of Ruud Fierens. FC Wielsbeke's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 82nd minute, Jonas Valckeners hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. KFC Geer's Edgard Van Goitsenhoven played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Gijselinkx in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Andrew Owerckx was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Wielsbeke's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KFC Geer the free kick. The supporters of KFC Geer booed when FC Wielsbeke was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrew Owerckx didn't get a good kick on the ball. Goffrey Van Looy hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Andrew Owerckx received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Edgard Van Goitsenhoven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
