Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) RSC Mitswege's Josef Dams started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Josef Dams struck a weak shot in the 4th minute. Thys Verheyden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RSC Mitswege. 6 minutes into the match, Aveschoot's goal looked a bit too open when Josef Dams came free, but Thys Verheyden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the game, Jonathan Peters was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Aveschoot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave RSC Mitswege the free kick. After 6 played minutes Aveschoot got a freekick which was hit by Jonathan Peters. If Jacobus Ketelers had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Glenn De Backer struck a weak shot in the 12th minute. Thys Verheyden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for RSC Mitswege. Glenn De Backer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thys Verheyden having to interfere. In the 18th match minute, RSC Mitswege was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timothy De Bougne to maneuver through the defense. In the game's 19th minute Aveschoot's Remie Thielemans took a hard shot from long distance, a kick which went into the net just to the right of Alexandre De Cat and thus the score was 1-0. Jacobus Ketelers took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexandre De Cat. Alexandre De Cat dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 28th minute, Fabien Wintermans hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Glenn De Backer managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Mitswege's supporters rose to their feet, but Glenn De Backer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thys Verheyden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Josef Dams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thys Verheyden having to interfere. Josef Dams's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thys Verheyden read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Stein Van Beylen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Alexandre De Cat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Josef Dams managed to get in a good position for a shot. RSC Mitswege's supporters rose to their feet, but Josef Dams was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thys Verheyden breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stein Van Beylen made a kick off. Thys Verheyden came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by RSC Mitswege's Glenn De Backer. But to his dismay, Glenn De Backer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Alexandre De Cat showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stein Van Beylen in the 55th minute of the match. In the 57th minute, Josef Dams reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thys Verheyden. The goal made the score 2-2. A collision led to RSC Mitswege getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Timothy De Bougne hit a great ball. Alexandre De Cat didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stein Van Beylen went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the RSC Mitswege defense, Jacobus Ketelers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alexandre De Cat. The RSC Mitswege fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alexandre De Cat should have stopped the shot. If Josef Dams had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thys Verheyden made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Glenn De Backer sent off a good shot on target. In the 87th minute Jacobus Ketelers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexandre De Cat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dimitri Van der Weijden hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Josef Dams fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thys Verheyden having to interfere. The Aveschoot support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
