In the 3rd minute, Sem Shamp hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leopold Loosen hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Brain De Custer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greg Boegaerts sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Delcomte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kristof Van de Goor hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. KSV Reves's Emile Lanfan got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fabrice Van Glabeeke made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emile Lanfan in the 20th minute. Emile Lanfan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Fabrice Van Glabeeke made a huge save. Ian Delcomte received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Fabrice Van Glabeeke tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Greg Boegaerts fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir having to interfere. Brain De Custer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emile Lanfan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrice Van Glabeeke having to interfere. KSV Reves's Ian Delcomte got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Anthoon Bernaerts charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anthoon Bernaerts the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 47 played minutes KSV Reves got a freekick which was hit by Anthoon Bernaerts. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Delcomte to strike the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Greg Boegaerts notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of KSV Reves's Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir. Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Delcomte in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabrice Van Glabeeke saved Vijverhoek from getting behind. Emile Lanfan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabrice Van Glabeeke read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of KSV Reves booed when Vijverhoek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier De Putter didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Vijverhoek's Xavier De Putter got a free kick in the 69th minute. The attack was good, but when Emile Lanfan in the 70th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 72nd minute Ian Delcomte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabrice Van Glabeeke saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Ian Delcomte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabrice Van Glabeeke. Vijverhoek's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ian Delcomte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ian Delcomte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Greg Boegaerts got free with Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brain De Custer's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 81stth minute, Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brain De Custer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emile Lanfan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabrice Van Glabeeke having to interfere. Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Greg Boegaerts sent off a good shot on target. 97 minutes into the match, KSV Reves's goalkeeper Pieter-Jan Dobbeleir had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kristof Van de Goor. The Vijverhoek players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented KSV Reves from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
