Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Baran Taykut took the kick off in the first half of the match. Baran Taykut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th match minute, Ecaussinnes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stratos Charoulis to maneuver through the defense. Ecaussinnes's Björn Kellberg proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Ecaussinnes from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Baran Taykut's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diedrik Engelbert was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. In the 15th match minute, Club Wetteren was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruud Aelemans to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baran Taykut in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diedrik Engelbert saved Club Wetteren from getting behind. Club Wetteren's Diedrik Engelbert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baran Taykut in the 18th minute of play. In the 19thth minute of the game Baran Taykut who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Club Wetteren's Diedrik Engelbert was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ecaussinnes! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Baran Taykut in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Diedrik Engelbert saved Club Wetteren from getting behind. After 29 minutes, Baran Taykut made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Club Wetteren's Diedrik Engelbert tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Baran Taykut took the ball and in the 32 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Diedrik Engelbert. Diedrik Engelbert dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. After 35 played minutes Ecaussinnes got a freekick which was hit by Marc Van der Goten. Björn Kellberg was out of position in the 36 minute of play, and Danny De Worteler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Danny De Worteler really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. Diedrik Engelbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baran Taykut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

51 minutes into the match, Danny De Worteler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Björn Kellberg. Ecaussinnes's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Danny De Worteler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. After 55 played minutes Club Wetteren got a freekick which was hit by Ruud Aelemans. When Ecaussinnes's Alex Holemans in the 57th minute got a chance for a shot 57th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Club Wetteren's goalie prevented a goal. Ruud Aelemans kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. A collision led to Club Wetteren getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Emile Reniers hit a great ball. Diedrik Engelbert was a little too slow when Baran Taykut got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 65th minute. The score was now 2-3. The audience was convinced that Alex Holemans's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Diedrik Engelbert was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Diedrik Engelbert made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Baran Taykut sent off a good shot on target. Alex Holemans was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 73rd minute. Ecaussinnes's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Baran Taykut could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Diedrik Engelbert made a huge save. In the 81st minute of the match, Baran Taykut got a very nice opportunity to score, but Diedrik Engelbert was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Diedrik Engelbert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Holemans, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ruud Aelemans hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 85 minutes into the match, Club Wetteren's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Holemans came free, but Diedrik Engelbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ecaussinnes's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eivind Aaslund in the 86th minute. It was a well-played corner which Marc Van der Goten managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 90 minutes into the match, Club Wetteren's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Holemans came free, but Diedrik Engelbert reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diedrik Engelbert made an important save on a dangerous shot by Baran Taykut in the 93rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Holemans in the 95th minute of play forced Club Wetteren's goalkeeper Diedrik Engelbert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Ecaussinnes could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Club Wetteren throughout the match.
