Rasmus Mårtensson hit a great freekick 3 minutes into the match. Jorre Vercouteren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonas Van Clijnebreugel, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. AFC Madzuly were furious when Stein Dhondt was red carded, 10 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 12th minute there was a penalty for BocaJuniors. Richmond Swiggers stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jorre Vercouteren. 0-1. Jorre Vercouteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jannis Impens in the 18th minute of play. After 28 played minutes AFC Madzuly got a freekick which was hit by Klaas Van Achter. 29 minutes into the game, one of AFC Madzuly:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Luc Van Parijs scored 0-3 in the 33rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jorre Vercouteren, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to AFC Madzuly getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Stan Roeckeloes hit a great ball. After some careless play in the AFC Madzuly defense, Luc Van Parijs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jorre Vercouteren. The AFC Madzuly fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jorre Vercouteren should have stopped the shot. Jorre Vercouteren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luc Van Parijs in the 44th minute of play. Staf Grammet charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Staf Grammet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AFC Madzuly's Staf Grammet got a free kick in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Luc Van Parijs notched a goal, 0-5, to the right of AFC Madzuly's Jorre Vercouteren. Jorre Vercouteren was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The AFC Madzuly players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. BocaJuniors were winning 0-5.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walter Wyns to make the kick off. Stan Roeckeloes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathieux Berchmans having to interfere. 73 minutes into the match, AFC Madzuly's goalkeeper Jorre Vercouteren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonas Van Clijnebreugel. After 74 minutes, Gerard Liboton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the BocaJuniors and the AFC Madzuly players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, BocaJuniors's Gerard Liboton got a free kick in the 74th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Stan Roeckeloes managed to get in a good position for a shot. AFC Madzuly's supporters rose to their feet, but Stan Roeckeloes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mathieux Berchmans breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jorre Vercouteren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jannis Impens, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Jonas Van Clijnebreugel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jorre Vercouteren. That made the score 0-6 in the 81 minute of play. Lorenz Boumans hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute Walter Wyns shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathieux Berchmans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johny De Raeijmaecker hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
