Walter Wyns could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Fre Baert made a huge save. When Steve Van Landschoot fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Antep Saint Germain's protests and gave Steve Van Landschoot a yellow card for diving instead. Steve Van Landschoot kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
