The supporters of PELT VV booed when FC Dharma Initiative was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Kindermans didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Dharma Initiative's Jesse Naessens played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cedrik De Muysere in the 16th minute of play. The corner ended in Jeremey Pulix almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but PELT VV's Joannes Antheunis did a great save. Joannes Antheunis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 36 minutes into the match, Shen Xiao Yan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joannes Antheunis. PELT VV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Shen Xiao Yan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Mats Kindermans made in the 42nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by PELT VV's Jos Laremans. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shen Xiao Yan in the 44th minute of play forced PELT VV's goalkeeper Joannes Antheunis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joannes Antheunis made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Shen Xiao Yan sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, PELT VV's Jos Laremans got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

The wind increased when Shen Xiao Yan made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Shen Xiao Yan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joannes Antheunis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shen Xiao Yan in the 53rd minute of the match. Joannes Antheunis came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dharma Initiative's Shen Xiao Yan. But to his dismay, Shen Xiao Yan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shen Xiao Yan in the 67th minute of play forced PELT VV's goalkeeper Joannes Antheunis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 71 minutes into the match, FC Dharma Initiative's Shen Xiao Yan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joannes Antheunis narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joannes Antheunis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Shen Xiao Yan went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-0 was the resulting score. Joannes Antheunis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shen Xiao Yan in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Dharma Initiative's zone, Lauren Van Den Abeele stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jesse Naessens came out of the goal and Lauren Van Den Abeele tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jannic De Wilde's late challenge caught a FC Dharma Initiative's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jannic De Wilde helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PELT VV's Jannic De Wilde got a free kick in the 79th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lauren Van Den Abeele got free with Jesse Naessens in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 minutes of play, FC Dharma Initiative's Shen Xiao Yan made it 8-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Joannes Antheunis was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, FC Dharma Initiative's Oscar Kindermans got a free kick in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, PELT VV's Jannic De Wilde ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jesse Naessens. Jesse Naessens yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-1. Joannes Antheunis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shen Xiao Yan, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
