After 17 minutes of play, FC Dharma Initiative's Shen Xiao Yan made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fredrik Meeuwissen was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fredrik Meeuwissen came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dharma Initiative's Shen Xiao Yan. But to his dismay, Shen Xiao Yan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Shen Xiao Yan in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fredrik Meeuwissen saved FC Zandvoorde from getting behind. A collision led to FC Zandvoorde getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Victor Du Bois hit a great ball. Fredrik Meeuwissen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Shen Xiao Yan's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 31 minutes into the match, FC Zandvoorde's goal looked a bit too open when Shen Xiao Yan came free, but Fredrik Meeuwissen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, Dieter Vrancken had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fredrik Meeuwissen. FC Zandvoorde's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dieter Vrancken was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-7. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shen Xiao Yan in the 38th minute of play forced FC Zandvoorde's goalkeeper Fredrik Meeuwissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fredrik Meeuwissen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shen Xiao Yan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-7 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Shen Xiao Yan was the one to do the kick off. When Oscar Kindermans came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the FC Dharma Initiative fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oscar Kindermans couldn't finish the play. Shen Xiao Yan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 57thth minute tested the skills of Fredrik Meeuwissen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shen Xiao Yan in the 61st minute of play forced FC Zandvoorde's goalkeeper Fredrik Meeuwissen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shen Xiao Yan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Fredrik Meeuwissen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Shen Xiao Yan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, FC Zandvoorde's Fredrik Meeuwissen got control of the ball when Shen Xiao Yan tried to sneak it across the goal line. FC Dharma Initiative's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeremey Pulix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fredrik Meeuwissen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FC Zandvoorde getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Anthonio Soetemans hit a great ball. Fredrik Meeuwissen came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by FC Dharma Initiative's Shen Xiao Yan. But to his dismay, Shen Xiao Yan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-11. FC Dharma Initiative's Shen Xiao Yan was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 86th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Fredrik Meeuwissen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Kindermans in the 88th minute of the match. 90 minutes into the game, FC Dharma Initiative's Shen Xiao Yan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fredrik Meeuwissen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-13. Tibau De Jaeger hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. FC Dharma Initiative's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
