The supporters of Wesselbend booed when FCB team was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Philippe Jensen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adrian Železný was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ken Anthonis showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Philippe Jensen managed to get in a good position for a shot. FCB team's supporters rose to their feet, but Philippe Jensen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jurgen Goris breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, FCB team's goal looked a bit too open when Everardo Huguet came free, but Adrian Železný reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, FCB team's Boudewijn Van Mellart got a free kick in the 19th minute. Pieterjan Vanneste kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Everardo Huguet in the 25th minute of play forced FCB team's goalkeeper Adrian Železný to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philippe Jensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jurgen Goris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Železný made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Everardo Huguet in the 30th minute of play. When Wesselbend's Everardo Huguet, in the 30th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Wesselbend. Adrian Železný made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Everardo Huguet made the kick off in the second half. Benicio Artizar was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd match minute, FCB team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Artizar to maneuver through the defense. Pieterjan Vanneste could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Jurgen Goris made a huge save. After a rather tough play, FCB team's Kristian Harrit got a free kick in the 56th minute. After having played for 59 minutes, Ken Anthonis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wesselbend's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ken Anthonis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Adrian Železný made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Grégoire Caamaño in the 61st minute of play. Adrian Železný showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Grégoire Caamaño, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. FCB team's Adrian Železný played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grégoire Caamaño in the 68th minute of play. Jonáš Baroš kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Adrian Železný showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Everardo Huguet in the 74th minute of the match. Grégoire Caamaño fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrian Železný having to interfere.
