The long shot by Roland-Nicolas Oehrke in the 22nd minute really tested Edgar Deckert's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Edgar Deckert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christopher Moratschke in the 25th minute of the match. FC Leckmaorsch's Edgar Deckert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Reinhold Dürr in the 26th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as F.C. Steaua Bucuresti's Reinhold Dürr slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edgar Deckert. That made the score 1-3 after 29 minutes of play. FC Leckmaorsch's defense didn't have a chance, in the 35th minute, when Christopher Moratschke scored to the left of an out of position Edgar Deckert, making the score, 2-3. After 39 minutes of play, FC Leckmaorsch's Dominic-Simon Scheider made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alexander Amerhauser was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alexander Amerhauser showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dominic-Simon Scheider in the 45th minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sebastian Fey made a kick off. Edgar Deckert took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastian Fey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edgar Deckert made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinhold Dürr in the 55th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dominic-Simon Scheider got free with Alexander Amerhauser in the 56th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Dominic-Simon Scheider had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the game, Dominic-Simon Scheider recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Alexander Amerhauser. Dominic-Simon Scheider showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. In the 64th minute, Christopher Moratschke ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edgar Deckert was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Marke in the 67th minute of play forced FC Leckmaorsch's goalkeeper Edgar Deckert to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Leckmaorsch getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Sebastian Bengtsson hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Thorben Scharping shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edgar Deckert showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edgar Deckert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastian Fey in the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Thorben Scharping had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edgar Deckert. FC Leckmaorsch's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thorben Scharping was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-5. F.C. Steaua Bucuresti's Alexander Amerhauser proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save F.C. Steaua Bucuresti from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the FC Leckmaorsch defense, Sebastian Fey kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edgar Deckert. The FC Leckmaorsch fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edgar Deckert should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Leckmaorsch's Joachim Urban got a free kick in the 91st minute.
