Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eric Koch made the kick off and thus started the match. 5 minutes into the match, Sharks FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eric Koch came free, but Till-Julius Pietta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Matthäus Herbst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Sascha-Andreas Lanier fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sharks FC's protests and gave Sascha-Andreas Lanier a yellow card for diving instead. After 10 played minutes Sharks FC got a freekick which was hit by Sascha-Andreas Lanier. After 12 played minutes, Rostatt's Jan Mers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Till-Julius Pietta came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rostatt reached it. Till-Julius Pietta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Koch, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Matthäus Herbst didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 2-0 via right post in the game's 26th minute. Sharks FC's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Sharks FC's Matthäus Herbst got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Koch in the 30th minute of play forced Sharks FC's goalkeeper Till-Julius Pietta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Sharks FC's Torsten Bannenberg got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Steffen Nuth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Till-Julius Pietta having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Roland Wyes during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 36th minute, Roland Wyes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Timo Hirt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Ibertsberger having to interfere. If Matthäus Herbst had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthäus Herbst made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Steffen Nuth got free with Till-Julius Pietta in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Steffen Nuth's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 57thth minute, Till-Julius Pietta skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Bastian Lau hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Johannes Fellner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Holger Ibertsberger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matthäus Herbst in the 63rd minute of play. Johannes Fellner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Holger Ibertsberger having to interfere. Holger Ibertsberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Timo Hirt in the 66th minute of the match. After 67 played minutes Rostatt got a freekick which was hit by Danny Knabel. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Matthäus Herbst in the 70th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Holger Ibertsberger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 72ndth minute of the game Matthäus Herbst who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rostatt's Holger Ibertsberger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Matthäus Herbst struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Holger Ibertsberger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sharks FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Matthäus Herbst managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sharks FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthäus Herbst was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Holger Ibertsberger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Rostatt's zone, Matthäus Herbst stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Holger Ibertsberger came out of the goal and Matthäus Herbst tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matthäus Herbst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bastian Lau charged in rather forcefully in the 84th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bastian Lau the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Till-Julius Pietta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eric Koch, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. During the 88th minute of the match Sascha-Andreas Lanier completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Sascha-Andreas Lanier a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After having played for 90 minutes, Eric Koch managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rostatt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eric Koch was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Holger Ibertsberger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matthäus Herbst in the 96th minute of the match.
