Nico Furchner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Klaas Franzen having to interfere. When Nico Furchner came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Salzachgrub FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nico Furchner couldn't finish the play. If Ruben Dobinski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Klaus Steppkes in the 21st minute of play forced Salzachgrub FC's goalkeeper Konrad Fassbinder to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd minute, Ruben Dobinski made a precise shot to the right of Klaas Franzen. Weidenholz's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Klaas Franzen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Furchner's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. Nico Furchner struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Klaas Franzen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salzachgrub FC. Ruben Dobinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Klaas Franzen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nico Furchner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 46 minutes into the game, Klaus Steppkes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Konrad Fassbinder. Klaus Steppkes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ruben Dobinski was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Weidenholz's goal looked a bit too open when Ruben Dobinski came free, but Klaas Franzen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, David Diesterhöft was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salzachgrub FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Weidenholz the free kick. David Diesterhöft kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 57 minutes into the match, Salzachgrub FC's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Marchl came free, but Konrad Fassbinder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nico Furchner could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Klaas Franzen made a huge save. Klaas Franzen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nico Furchner's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. In the 67th minute the ball was on its way in behind Weidenholz's goalkeeper Klaas Franzen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oliver Buchberger during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Christopher Marchl managed to get in a good position for a shot. Weidenholz's supporters rose to their feet, but Christopher Marchl was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Konrad Fassbinder breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ruben Dobinski charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ruben Dobinski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 74 played minutes Salzachgrub FC got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Dobinski. Nico Furchner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Klaas Franzen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ruben Dobinski received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Klaas Franzen came out and tried to block the shot, but Ruben Dobinski slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 83rd minute. Klaas Franzen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Diesterhöft in the 87th minute of play. Ruben Dobinski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
