Salzachgrub FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wienerberg the free kick. The supporters of Wienerberg booed when Salzachgrub FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ruben Dobinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luca Busche received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Konrad Fassbinder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Wienerberg's Timo-Fabian Kienast got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Nico Furchner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Simon Seisler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ruben Dobinski in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 31 minutes, Leonard Bachmeier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wienerberg's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leonard Bachmeier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Salzachgrub FC's Konrad Fassbinder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernhard Gerlach in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute there was a penalty for Wienerberg. Ingo Matzken stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Konrad Fassbinder. 0-1. After a rather tough play, Salzachgrub FC's Kevin Gladbach got a free kick in the 43rd minute. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bernhard Gerlach to make the kick off. Simon Seisler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ruben Dobinski's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. A collision led to Wienerberg getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Matthäus Schünemann hit a great ball. Nico Furchner sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Leonard Bachmeier took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Konrad Fassbinder. Konrad Fassbinder dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 65th match minute, Salzachgrub FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Horneber to maneuver through the defense. Wienerberg's Leonard Bachmeier got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 75th minute, Bernhard Gerlach got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Salzachgrub FC booed when Wienerberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ralf Herzog didn't get a good kick on the ball. Leonard Bachmeier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wienerberg's Simon Seisler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ruben Dobinski in the 91st minute of play. Salzachgrub FC's Konrad Fassbinder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernhard Gerlach in the 94th minute of play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wienerberg had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
