Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Jens-Uwe Sauter made the kick off which started today's match. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Gregor Broich managed to get in a good position for a shot. Liedtberg FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gregor Broich was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marco Gottschalk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jan Frentzen got free with Lars Setzinger in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 12th minute, Jan Frentzen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Alsergrund IF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. An unexpected shot in the 15th minute by Jan Frentzen got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. 16 minutes into the match, Liedtberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Trares came free, but Lars Setzinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Alsergrund IF's Jan Frentzen got a free kick in the 18th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nicholas Neubrandt during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 21 played minutes Liedtberg FC got a freekick which was hit by Nicholas Neubrandt. Lars Setzinger was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Mirko Zingler. The audience was convinced that Jan Frentzen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lars Setzinger was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, Liedtberg FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jan Frentzen fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Liedtberg FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 31st minute, when Alex Trares scored to the left of an out of position Lars Setzinger, making the score, 2-0. Jan Frentzen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice moves Jan Frentzen could shoot a difficult shot in the 38th minute, which Lars Setzinger however easily saved by the left post. 39 minutes into the match, Liedtberg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Trares came free, but Lars Setzinger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Trares might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lars Setzinger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alex Trares ran back to his position shaking his head. Alex Trares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Setzinger having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Trares made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Liedtberg FC's zone, Jan Frentzen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lars Setzinger came out of the goal and Jan Frentzen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 53 minutes, Alex Trares put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Lars Setzinger. Mirko Zingler hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. In the 65th match minute, Liedtberg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jens-Uwe Sauter to maneuver through the defense. Alex Trares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lars Setzinger having to interfere. A collision led to Liedtberg FC getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Manuel Schönenberger hit a great ball. Jan Frentzen struck a weak shot in the 80th minute. Lars Setzinger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alsergrund IF. Lars Setzinger stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alex Trares's shot from short distance in the 92nd minute. There was no doubt that Alsergrund IF were the better team. Alsergrund IF's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
