In the 3rd minute Hans-Peter Aufhauser shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olli Schloss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5th minute of the match Michel Rühmann sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Olli Schloss skillfully saved the ball. Arnold Wickendick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 11 played minutes Ralf Wedemeyer rounded SV Mauerkirchen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Mirko Winnerl showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ralf Wedemeyer in the 15th minute of the match. In the 16thth minute of the game Ralf Wedemeyer who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SV Mauerkirchen's Mirko Winnerl was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpected shot in the 24th minute by Ralf Wedemeyer got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Ralf Wedemeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Winnerl having to interfere. If Arnold Wickendick had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The SV Mauerkirchen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mirko Winnerl should have stopped the shot. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ralf Wedemeyer made a kick off. Hans-Peter Aufhauser was extremely unlucky when he, in the 52nd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 55th minute Ralf Wedemeyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mirko Winnerl saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mirko Winnerl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnold Wickendick in the 61st minute of play. Hans-Peter Aufhauser struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Olli Schloss didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for SV Mauerkirchen. Ralf Wedemeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Winnerl having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Arnold Wickendick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Irrendt FSV's supporters rose to their feet, but Arnold Wickendick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mirko Winnerl breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ralf Wedemeyer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mirko Winnerl having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Arnold Wickendick ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mirko Winnerl was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Irrendt FSV's zone, Hans-Peter Aufhauser stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olli Schloss came out of the goal and Hans-Peter Aufhauser tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 81st match minute, Irrendt FSV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stephan-Andreas Ballik to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 82 minutes, Hans-Peter Aufhauser managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SV Mauerkirchen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hans-Peter Aufhauser was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mirko Winnerl took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnold Wickendick, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 93rd play minute Alex Breitenbacher came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Olli Schloss. 4-2. Irrendt FSV's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
