To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 8 minutes into the match, Fc Leihmannsdorf's goal looked a bit too open when Tim Knebel came free, but Jörn von Halem reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fc Wien booed when Fc Leihmannsdorf was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Kulovitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fc Leihmannsdorf's Jörn von Halem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dennis Jansch in the 13th minute of play. Rafael Thoma took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel-Benjamin Scherhag, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tim Knebel blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jörn von Halem having to make a save. Jörn von Halem stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tim Knebel's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Fc Leihmannsdorf's Jörn von Halem played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tim Knebel in the 32nd minute of play. If Dennis Jansch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jörn von Halem showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Knebel in the 34th minute of the match. Dennis Jansch blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jörn von Halem having to make a save. Tim Knebel scored 0-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jörn von Halem, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maximilian Linhorst sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Fc Leihmannsdorf players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fc Wien were winning 0-1.

After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Tim Knebel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Wien's supporters rose to their feet, but Tim Knebel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jörn von Halem breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
