Alex Dehnicke-Schröter made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Peter Schreyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Kiener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 4th match minute, Prossegg FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marko Reiter to maneuver through the defense. Yannik Urner scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karsten Eggenfeld, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Prossegg FC's Karsten Eggenfeld proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Prossegg FC from getting a goal against them. Peter Schreyer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Matthias Kiener tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vorwerk FC's Matthias Kiener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Schreyer in the 16th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, Prossegg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Dehnicke-Schröter came free, but Karsten Eggenfeld reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute Peter Schreyer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Kiener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Niels Lehmann in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matthias Kiener prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 31st minute Niels Lehmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matthias Kiener saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Vorwerk FC! In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Prossegg FC. Marko Reiter stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Matthias Kiener. 1-1. Timo-Fabian Malsch hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Niels Lehmann recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Niels Lehmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute of the match Marko Reiter sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Matthias Kiener skillfully saved the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Niels Lehmann stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vorwerk FC's Matthias Kiener played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kai Rockstein in the 51st minute of play. Matthias Kiener came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Prossegg FC's Peter Schreyer. But to his dismay, Peter Schreyer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. If Alex Dehnicke-Schröter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Niels Lehmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 67th match minute, Vorwerk FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Timo-Fabian Malsch to maneuver through the defense. If Peter Schreyer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Alex Dehnicke-Schröter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Dennis Füngerlings came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Vorwerk FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dennis Füngerlings couldn't finish the play. Matthias Kiener made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Schreyer in the 78th minute. A collision led to Vorwerk FC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jonathan Oertel hit a great ball. The supporters of Vorwerk FC booed when Prossegg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kai Rockstein didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Prossegg FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Marcel Schennach hit a great ball. 90 minutes into the match, Vorwerk FC's goal looked a bit too open when Niels Lehmann came free, but Matthias Kiener reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 93 minutes into the match, Peter Schreyer had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Matthias Kiener. Vorwerk FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Peter Schreyer was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Prossegg FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
