An unexpectedly hard shot by Willi Ballik in the 6th minute of play forced FC Herp Derp's goalkeeper Harald Harneit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Willi Ballik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Harald Harneit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bastian Schramm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Jörg Golz made a huge save. After 9 minutes Potschach FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Achim Kühbauer who took care of the corner kick. After 14 played minutes, Potschach FC's Werner Scholzen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Harald Harneit came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Potschach FC reached it. Joachim Ruthus charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Joachim Ruthus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Herp Derp getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Joachim Ruthus hit a great ball. Joachim Ruthus got his second yellow card in the match during the 20th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, FC Herp Derp's Joachim Ruthus got a free kick in the 20th minute. Stefan Jungblut sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Herp Derp's Harald Harneit played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Willi Ballik in the 24th minute of play. Stefan Jungblut fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Harneit having to interfere. If Willi Ballik had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Willi Ballik sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willi Ballik struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Harald Harneit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Potschach FC. Gerrit Märs hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The FC Herp Derp players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Potschach FC were winning 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Willi Ballik stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 63 minutes, Stefan Jungblut managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Potschach FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stefan Jungblut was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, Andreas Zingler hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Potschach FC's Jörg Golz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Schramm in the 67th minute of play. With a little luck, FC Herp Derp's Harald Harneit got control of the ball when Stefan Jungblut tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 74th minute, Steffen Koslow made a precise shot to the right of Jörg Golz. Potschach FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. 77 minutes into the game, Ralph Drewniak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Potschach FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Herp Derp the free kick. Jörg Golz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bastian Schramm in the 82nd minute of the match. Stefan Jungblut recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Stefan Jungblut took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Harald Harneit to make any attempt to save it. Willi Ballik fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Harald Harneit having to interfere. In the 99th minute, Stefan Jungblut got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Potschach FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
